WATCH OUT BOSTON - LTH IS HERE! (7/11/08)
Posted on: 7/12/2008 11:26:30 AM

Several members of LTH decided to take a trip into Boston on Friday night. The initial plan was to go watch a "Free Friday Night Flick" - but plans changed.

We arrived at Downtown Crossings at about 5:30 pm and made our way to Quincy Market. There we watched street performers, had dinner and shared many laughs. In addition - we spent a significant amount of time at BROOKSTONE - they have some wonderful stress relief "gadgets".

After a few hours we headed to the N. End for some tasty treats and reflection time. Some teens gethered in the beautiful chapel and had lovely discussion while the others congregated outside to catch up.

Once we were ready to go - the entire group went to the Boston Harbor Hotel and hung around the water front and fountains. We then made our way back to South Station - and headed home.

Overall a great week for the LTH Crew.

LTH "SWINGS" AWAY - 7/10/08
Posted on: 7/12/2008 11:20:51 AM

Members of LTH - mistaken by many as professional GOLF PLAYERS - hit a few golf balls at STARLAND this week. Lizzie and Andrew both demonstrated great skill with their swing - JP, Leah, Kaitlyn and Christina couldn't be stopped on the MINI GOLF putting greens.

In addition to some FUN on the Golf Course - LTH Speed Racers were also present. THe race started off with everyone NECK AND NECK but it was Lizzie that proved to have the SLOWEST CAR - with ANDREW A CLOSE SECOND! John was WHIPPING around the course so fast that he lost his HAT!

After Starland the group headed to grab ICE CREAM at JC's and called it a day!

Thank you to all who made it so much FUN!

FUN GAME AND THEN A GATHERING AT THE LIFEHOUSE!

Thursday, May 22nd
4pm, Hanover Middle School

The middle school is on Whiting Street right near the intersection of Whiting and Cedar Directions from the Church:
Exit the parking lot with a left hand turn on 139. Take a right at the first set of lights just after Tedeschi's and West Hanover Pizzaria. Follow this road for about a quarter to a half mile, and the entrance to the middle school will be on your right.

Players are encouraged to wear shin guards for safety as well as bring both a light and dark colored shirt to help with team differentiation. I will try to bring along some extra shin guards for those who don't have any, but I can't guarantee that I'll have enough for everyone. Cleats are also encouraged, but not necessary. As usual, I'll be there a little early so if others want to show up early and pass it around or take some shots on goal to warm up, that's fine. I'm going to try to see if I can't get somebody to try to shuttle back and forth from the Church to the Middle School, but it may not be possible.

Spring Retreat was a BLAST!
Posted on: 4/22/2008 3:52:15 PM

LifeTeen Hanover just returned from an awesome Spring Retreat! The retreat was held at the Sacred Heart Retreat Center in Wareham, MA – a beautiful facility located right on the water, with a beach, plenty of walking trails, a zen garden, a labrynth, stations of the cross through the woods, and lot’s of field space for playing outside! We could not have asked for better weather as the sun was shining each day and we were able to take complete advantage of the gorgeous facility. There were volley ball games, soccer games, whiffle ball games, and a large kickball game! Fun was had by all! The theme of the retreat was Alpha Omega – the beginning and the end – and highlighted the different Liturgical seasons of the Church. The theme song was “How Great is Our God” and everyone who went on retreat got a cool navy tee shirt and a CD!

A few fun memories from the retreat: John Tiedke’s teapot “remix”, Nick Frazier’s Irish Jig, the Juniors awesome performance during the Holy Wars, Caroline Roche “owning” the gummy worm wheelbarrow race, Paul and Brendan swimming, Girls vs Boys Sponge War, Emily's singing during hte American Idol competition, the Christmas Wrapping Paper event, Warm Fuzzies, Mass in front of the pond, Adoration, Reconciliation, Anointing Service at the Zen Garden, small group Affirmation exercise, senior sharing on the beach, and many, many more!

Hello Pilgrims and Families,

This email is quite simple:

I would like you to send me the TOTAL amount you have paid towards this journey. I am asking for all check numbers, money order amounts, cash amounts and credit card payments. Please include the insurance if you had purchased it. I will reconcile everything with Loretta and then send out the balance for each traveler. I plan to have this done within a week.

Therefore, it is important that you submit to me the information requested at your earliest convenience.

ADORE MINISTRIES ANNOUNCES THE 2097 WORSHIP TOUR; SEPT. ‘07. TRAVELING WITH THE MINISTRY WILL BE MATT MAHER AND BAND;
KELLY PEASE; JOSH BLAKESLEY. PAUL GEORGE WILL BE SPEAKING

Houma, LA July 15, 2007. ADORE Ministries is about to venture into cities across the nation for a fall tour of worship and evangelization. The ministry is based in Houma Louisiana. In the spirit of the New Evangelization, the ministry is committed to go wherever God would send them. ‘2097’ is the ministry’s outreach of worship and evangelization.

The 2097 Tour will include a night of powerful worship and a teaching that will cut to the heart. Matt Maher and band; along with Kelly Pease and Josh Blakesley will coming together for this worship event. National speaker, Paul George will be proclaiming a powerful message that brings relate-ability to the gospel. The tour will begin in Williamsburg, VA on Sept. 6, 2007 and close in Albuquerque, NM on Sept. 19, 2007.

Matt Maher is a critically acclaimed worship leader, songwriter and artist, having been in full time ministry for over 12 years, release three full-length albums and infiltrating contemporary worship inside the Catholic Church.
Since the 2002 release of his first CD, The End and the Beginning, the rise of Matt and his music has been remarkable. At World Youth Day in Toronto, Matt’s “Litany of the Saints” was sung at the official Papal Evening Prayer, with the Holy Father singing the lyrical prayer along with 700,000 young pilgrims from around the world. Matt is slated to lead worship at the next World Youth Day in Sydney, Australia in the summer of 2008.
Matt’s songs “Just Like You” and “Love Has Come” were recorded by Christian artist Kathy Troccoli for her album The Heart of Me, which received a Grammy nomination for 2002 Best Pop/Contemporary Gospel Album of the Year. Maher’s “Your Grace Is Enough” was recorded by worship leader, Chris Tomlin on his gold-selling “Arriving” CD and “On The Third Day” was recorded by Michael Olson, landing at #2 on the Christian Inspirational charts in early 2007. In October 2003, he received the Unity Award for “Best New Artist of the Year” from the United Catholic Music and Video Association. In 2004 he received the Unity Award for Praise & Worship Song of the Year for “I Love You, Lord.”
Matt’s music has received glowing reviews from major Christian music publications and he is increasingly sought after as a performer and worship leader at worship events, youth ministry conferences and rallies. Matt's music and message flourish alongside partnering organizations such as Lifeteen, National Catholic Youth Convention, National Conference on Catholic Youth Ministry, Worship Leader, Los Angeles Religious Education Congress,
Franciscan University of Steubenville and worshiptogether.com. Matt currently leads the music ministry with his band of 3 every Sunday evening at St. Timothy’s in Phoenix, Arizona as the parish’s Artist in Residence.
With the release of his third album with OCP/spiritandsong.com, Overflow, in February 06, and a forthcoming Essential Records release in the spring of 2008, Matt continues to explore the wonders and challenges of this life that God calls us to. Matt welcomes us to walk with him in his ministry, promoting unity to all God’s people, young and old, around the world.

Kelly Pease is a Louisiana native and has been "praying" through music since the age of 14. At first she thought the music God was giving her was simply to help her heal from the losses she experienced early in life, including the divorce of her parents and her father's untimely death. But, over time, God revealed to her that the music he was pouring through her was for others as well.

Now, at the age of 22, Kelly shares her music and testimony in churches and conferences across the country. Her songs reflect a true telling of the ups and downs of walking with Christ, including the major themes of God's consistency in an inconsistent world and the call for God's church to be one.

"What I believe God has put on my heart is a call for unity in the church," Kelly says. "I believe there are millions of people in the world who need to be fed. They need to hear about Jesus. They need something to eat. They need to be loved. I think we prevent this from happening when we turn on each other to criticize and point out the flaws in religion. We are all imperfect. We are also all trying to know Jesus and help make Him known. My heart is that we stand on our common ground and try to help each other see that to fruition."

Recently, Kelly signed a recording contract with Beach Street/Reunion Records. Her debut album will release worldwide in the spring of 2008.

Josh Blakesely’s Christian music journey began in 1992 while he was involved with a high school peer ministry team. During that time he saw the power of God at work in the lives of teens as they were transformed into believers and lovers of Jesus Christ

He vowed to be "sold out" for Christ and to use his gift of writing music to glorify God. In a world where well-produced secular music is dominant, he has dedicated himself to making quality contemporary Catholic music. In addition, he's committed to spreading the Gospel through dynamic speaking and personal testimony.

In 1993, Josh was a praise and worship leader for the papal visit at World Youth Day in Denver, Colorado. He has led music for over 10 years at various Steubenville Youth Conferences throughout the U.S. He has worked as a musician with the Catholic Heart Work Camps and the Life Teen Camps. He has contributed songs to several compilation albums, including Steubenville's 1999 Out of the Jungle, and the 2004 spiritandsong CD Live It!

In 2003, Josh released his first solo album, Immersed, which includes original songs written mostly from his experiences in youth and music ministry. A common thread in his lyrics is how one can never be the same after a true communion with the living God.

In addition to composing and recording music, Josh serves as young adult coordinator and assistant music director at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Alexandria, Louisiana. He travels many weekends to other parishes throughout the U.S. doing concerts, conducting workshops for musicians, speaking at youth rallies and conferences, and leading praise and worship.

Josh and his wife, Heather, have two children.

Paul George has been in the trenches of ministry for the past twelve years. He has run parish youth ministry programs in both Louisiana and Arizona. He is the former Director of Parish Programs/Southern Regional Director for Life Teen International.

Gifted in developing a Gospel relevancy for people of all ages and channeling his message through stories and humor, Paul George shares his passion for God and his vocation in leading worship. Co-founder of ADORE ministries, Paul travels around the country speaking at rallies, retreats, conferences, schools and many other venues. He had the honor of speaking in Rome, Italy for the World Youth Day Celebration in August of 2000.

Paul currently resides in Houma, LA where he serves as director of ADORE ministries (a non-profit ministry which serves the Diocese of Houma/Thibodaux. Its mission is to bring the love of God to all people through worship, evangelization, outreach, and formation). ADORE’S worship nights draw over 1000 people of all ages. Also ADORE’S 2097 outreach continues to bring the heart of ADORE’S mission of worship into cities across the country. Paul also serves the
> Diocese of H/T as the director of young adult ministry.
Paul is married to his college sweetheart Gretchen; they have three children named Marie, Jacob and Sarah.

2097 TOUR COMING TO HANOVER, MASSACHUSETTS
Posted on: 8/19/2007 2:35:43 PM

WHO WE ARE
Pope John Paul II prophetically dreamt of a renewal in the Church –
a New Springtime mirroring Pentecost. We at ADORE believe
this New Springtime is dawning as Christians around the world bow
their lives before God like never before. The New Springtime in our
dream as we go forth with a heart to lead people to God. And,
we dream of the same freedom for ADORE Ministries, that we might
serve God with complete reliance on Him and with an openness to go
wherever He would lead us.

OUR VISION
The vision of ADORE is simple and stems directly from the Catechism
of the Catholic Church #2097
“To ADORE God is to acknowledge, in respect and absolute submission,
the ‘nothingness of the creature; who would not exist but for God.
To ADORE God is to praise and exalt Him and humble oneself, as
Mary did in the Magnificat, confessing with gratitude that He has done
great things and holy is His name. The worship of the one God sets
us free from turning in ourselves, from the slavery to sin and
idolatry of the world.”

2097 OUTREACH
In the spirit of the New Evangelization, we are committed to following
God wherever He would send us. This has lead us to travel to cities
across the country. The 2097 mission is our outreach of worship
and evangelization. We believe that worship does not just begin
when we gather for corporate worship events, but, begins as our
hearts bow to Him who is worthy of all our praises. We are
committed to journeying with local Church communities
to support and empower God’s people to come together with the
united intention of loving and worshipping our God. The 2097
mission outreach consists of powerful worship and preaching that brings
relate-ability to the good news of the Gospel.

White Water Rafting Trip: Fun Time Had By All!
Posted on: 7/23/2007 9:56:57 AM

LifeTeen Hanover hit the rapids and the ropes this weekend and had an awesome time! 11 teens attended the trip, along with Mike, Michelle, Erin and John .... and Mr and Mrs Hayward graciously drove a group of teens up and back for us, which was a tremendous help. We hit the rapids early Saturday morning - with our lifevests, wetsuits and helmets on - and learned the commands from our guides. We had a fantastic time on the river - rafting, swimming, water wars, and falling out of the boat, occasionally! We had a delicious lunch on the river and returned to Adventure Bound late in the afternoon. We had a taco dinner .... birthday cake for Michelle ... and a mean game of Volleyball before the camp fire. Sunday morning we packed up the vans and hit the HIGH (really HIGH) Ropes Course. We tested our fears and stepped outside our comfort zone ... and worked together as a TEAM to get people up on the ropes! It was a WONDERFUL adventure .... can't wait to go back! Check out the pictures on the website and we'll have a night to share pictures and the video when we get them!

LifeTeen Alumni Return from New Mexico!
Posted on: 6/17/2007 1:04:03 PM

The LifeTeen Alumni have returned from a week of service in Chaparral, New Mexico. The alumni served from June 9 through June 16 and were hosted by the Religious of the Assumption, a group of nuns. The purpose of the mission was to serve the children of Chaparral, NM by organizing a camp that the sisters run each summer. The alumni organized many different activities for each day - soccer, kickball, basketball, arts and crafts, story telling, jewelry making and a mini olympics. Each morning, they joined the community for daily mass, sometimes in English and sometimes in Spanish! The alumni spent the afternoons helping the sisters with various tasks and projects - gardening, repairing and painting a shed, etc. Each night, the alumni gathered in the local park with the community to play soccer and spend time with the families. Each night we gathered as a group for prayer, reflection, or Adoration - we certainly did have some awesome prayer experiences! It was an amazing experience - to be a part of the community of Chaparral, NM and to see the dedication and service of the sisters. The alumni have adopted "Sister Chabela" as the new Grandmother of LifeTeen!

WORLD YOUTH DAY 2008 - 435 days to GO!!!
Posted on: 5/7/2007 3:55:34 PM

What a lovely weekend and a fantastic Monday!

Thank you to all who have sent in their initial $500 deposit for WYD 2008 in Sydney.

If you do not plan on attending WYD but are on this list please let me know NOW; so that I can remove you and not send you information. However, if you are interested but struggle financially please let me know ASAP also.

We have 44 deposits or confirmations so far. That is fantastic! We have another 14 that I have not heard from…please let me know where you stand!

Here is the official World Youth Day website for you to get a feel for the pilgrimage.
WYD

It is a great website with lots of facts, videos and information.

We have a lot to do in ONLY 435 days! We are still finalizing our tour operators and once we get that confirmed we will pass along the information to you.

This email is simply to remind you that our Journey has begun. I ask that each day in your prayers you pray for Pope Benedict to give him the strength and courage to speak in Sydney as well as he did in Köln, Germany. He has been an inspiration to many and a surprise to us all. Many were concerned about his ability to connect with the youth in this world…but he is doing a great job!

Please keep all of the pilgrims in your prayers…over 1 million people will be traveling to Sydney for this wonderful occasion.

With all this prayerful preparation also comes the financial planning. To assist us all in spreading out the expense I have included our payment schedule. This is represented as “per pilgrim”:

April 2007 Deposit $500

July 2007 Installment #1 $500

October 2007 Inst. #2 $500

February 2008 Inst. #3 $1000

May 2008 Inst. #4 $1000

Of course much of this depends on fundraising. (Please note that only adds up to $3500.00) I am hoping that we will come in lower than that.

This is just a payment schedule so that you know what to expect.

I appreciate all your efforts and sacrifices to make this work…I promise it will be worth every penny saved and hour worked.

God Bless…

Make sure to be at the church by 6:15 pm and we will be home around 9:45 pm.

LTH to HOST LifeTeen Cares
Posted on: 11/14/2006 12:49:53 PM

LifeTeen Hanover will be hosting the 1st ever "LifeTeen Cares" program down in the LifeHouse on December 15, 2006.

Sean Flynn, myself and the other Youth Ministers have discussed ways of bringing us all together once in a while. This is just one of the possibilities.

We are thinking that this would be a great night for a Christmas service
social. There will be food, music, and fun provided. We are working out the final details. All we ask is that each teen bring a present and a can good, or toiletries for those in shelters or
prison.

All LifeTeen Parishes in the area will be invited to attend. All parishes will be asked to collect food and toiletries. This will be a great way to help out in this event and spotlight what LifeTeen is doing together.

We are excited about this event and ask you to save the night. If for some reason the bigger event does not materialize we will still get together!

Hiking Story #2
Posted on: 9/2/2006 7:04:03 PM

On September 2, 2006 a group of five people, including John Barata went on a lovely hiking trip. Kristen, Colleen, Stephanie, Heidi, Molly and John had a spectacular time. Pictures were taken, big foot was found, Molly almost fell off a cliff, Colleen choked three times and Heidi was attacked by a tree. The five GIRLS proved to be better hikers than any of the boys would've been, because they finished they're trail in under an hour, which we all decided was quite impressive. After our long hike, we decided to treat ourselves with some great food, so we went back to Uno's in Hanover and had dinner. Heidi found out what it sounds like to make a smoothie, Colleen choked a few times, John's fries all mysteriously disappeared from his plate and we all drew some great pictures right after our word search race. All in all, the afternoon was quite enjoyable and I'm sure John loved his afternoon out with the girls.

Hiking Story #1
Posted on: 9/2/2006 7:03:09 PM

5 fabulous girls (Heidi, Stephanie, Kristen, Molly and Colleen) embarked with me on the most perilous hiking journey I have ever expierenced. While the boys were at home playing with their barbie dolls, we were walking, preparing to climb the rockiest trail. However our plan was ruined when Bigfoot with his gigantic nose jumped out from behind a tree. The girls remained calm and it was good that the boys were not along, because we all know they would have been screaming for their mommies. We all began to run for it, but Bigfoot was much faster than us. We finally found a huge rock and ducked under it. Bigfoot and his huge nose did not fit under it. We all fell asleep, trying to regain our energy while Bigfoot was growing furious. He eventually ran off. We needed to find where in these dark woods we were so together we climbed a giant rock. We were unprepared for what was up top. A giagantic lion with a huge, curly mane was roaring at us.Molly, slipped and almost fell off the cliff. Colleen and Kristen bravely came to her rescue while Stephi was making sure that the backpack with its vital supplies would not fall off the ledge. Heidi defeated the lion with her matrix moves which she learned by being attacked by a crazy tree branch. The lion lay unconsious and Kristen and Colleen pulled Molly off the ledge. We could see the trail, so we ran to the car before this physchotic lion came back to eat us. A hyena laughed at our misery as we were out of breath and dreanched with sweat, but we knew we had to keep running. We finally made it to the car. I then took the courageous girls to Uno's for a feast they whole-heartily deserved.

Randolph Paintball Trip
Posted on: 8/17/2006 11:30:20 AM

Randolph Paintball Trip

On this lovely August 16, 2006, about 20 teens left from St. Mary¡¦s church in Hanover Massachusetts to go on a paintball trip. It was a blast and all enjoyed it. The bus left the parking lot at 10:00 in the morning and arrived back at the church at 2:20. Playing was done outdoors on four playing fields. We started on the first and ended on the first after the referee accidentally disturbed a hornet¡¦s nest and we abandoned that field. The underclassmen played the upperclassmen, but guess who won most of the games!ƒº The day was warm and very eventful and all had a blast! ƒº

Appalachia Service Project a HUGE Success!!!
Posted on: 7/30/2006 10:27:56 AM

76 Pilgrims from Hanover, MA embarked on a journey at 4:30 am on Saturday July 15th. Our destination: Anderson County, Tennessee. Our Mission: To help spread the light of the World, in Jesus Christ. Our Learning Experience: PRICELESS!!!

The ASP experience was amazing. The Team Leaders, Teens and families were a true testimony to the Love of our Lord Jesus. People from all walks of life working side by side to bring joy to the life of others.

Each and every day we started in Prayer and Worship to our good Lord and we concluded each night with the celebration of the Eucharist.

In between we worked on homes that needed lots of love and care. What we gave to our families in physical labor, they returned right back in love and spiritual healing. Many of us went down to serve our brothers and sisters and quickly realized that we too were being served. Our Lord was working through our families to allow us to see all the goodness in this world.

We all learned that it is not the amount of money we have in our wallets, or the number of cars we have in the drive way...it is the way we love one and other and treat each other that truly measures our worth.

Overall, ASP was a terrific journey...I was so proud of the group. You all represented yourselves, your families, your parish and your God with the MOST AMAZING SPIRIT AND LOVE!

More articles and stories to follow about the ASP journey!

Eating arrangements: Breakfast and dinner will be prepared by ASP’s summer cooks and served in the school cafeteria. Sack lunches (with food provided by ASP, except for snacks and drinks) will be prepared by each work crew.

Meeting arrangements: Evening gatherings will be in the cafeteria, gym, or outside.

SENIOR LIFE NIGHT A HUGE SUCCESS!!!
Posted on: 6/5/2006 7:51:50 AM

Life Teen Hanover presented its first annual Senior Life Night!

This night was planned, organized and performed by the senior class under the direction of our Youth Minister, John Barata.

The Seniors chose to entertain the group of 70 plus teens with a skit featuring a teen in "self conflict" not truly understanding himself. As the skit evolves several decisions needed to be made and each one had a consequence.

Eventually we felt that the main theme was self identity and awareness. Find a way to love yourself first, just as our Lord loves you and then you will be confident enough to be a leader in this world.

God created us in His image and likeness...so have can we go wrong.

Thank you seniors for a terrific night!

WORLD YOUTH DAY 2008
Posted on: 6/1/2006 11:28:13 AM

On Palm Sunday 2006 the journey of World Youth Day began!!! Pope Benedict XVI sent the towering wooden pilgrim's cross on a two-year, cross-continental journey that will conclude in Sydney in 2008 with the promise he would be in Australia to celebrate World Youth Day.

Life Teen Hanover participated in World Youth Day 2005 in Koln, Germany. This was Pope Benedict's first world youth day. After the loss of our most respected John Paul II there were concerns of future youth events. Pope Benedict has stepped up and will provide the youth an experience like no other when we touch down in Australia to pray and worship with our Lord. Over 40 pilgrims from St. Mary's joined 1.5 million others to celebrate a mass with our Pope!

It is with great excitement that Life Teen Hanover announces that its "JOURNEY" to Sydney will start in the fall of 2006.

Please visit the official World Youth Day 2008 website www.wyd2008.org for more information!

More details to follow...this was just a teaser!!!

Posted on: 5/31/2006 10:03:40 AM

Saturday afternoon was sunny, hot and humid...but that couldn't stop the teens heading to Appalachia from working hard and having fun.

Mike C directed the entire car wash with the assistance from John and CORE. Over 40 teens participated in the FUN-draising event which helped the "pilgrims" towards achieving their fundraising goals.

July 15th is rapidly approaching and the excitement for the service project is building.

Thank you all for your support!

RETREAT TESTIMONIAL FROM JAY WALSH
Posted on: 5/8/2006 10:26:42 AM

When I think of the Twelve Apostles praying in unison I think of when they locked themselves in the house on the second floor, away from the trials and tribulations of life. I think of how Jesus was praying with them and they were looking out for each other as brothers. I think of how these are the same Apostles who had flaming tongues over their heads because they were so holy and so intent on spreading the Word. And that is exactly how it felt at the Spring Retreat, especially the Adoration. It was like no other. The level of prayer was like nothing I experienced before. From the confession and burning of sins, and the symbolism of burning incense to the prayer cards and group discussions to the quiet walks with friends during our free time I feel everyone was touched a little bit by our stay at La Salette.

The speech by Nick really hit the nail on the head to how I was feeling at the beginning. I knew this was my first and last retreat with all of you and despite being jovial, in the back of my mind I was regretting a lot of things including not coming to life teen the first time I heard about it, a year or two ago and instead I only joined in February 2006. With the help of Father Chris and all of you I came to the realization that if I spent all my time regretting time lost, I wouldn't benefit at all. When everyone got to comment on how they were feeling during our final Mass at the Retreat I said how each and every one of you has helped me out. My english teacher once told me a very factual quote. "I have become a part of everyone I meet." Some may wonder what makes lifeteen so profound but I have the answer. Sarah Haigh's laugh, Molly Barrett's smile, Pete McNulty's...*scratches head* um...zoological specialties, Joe Cody's stories, Lauren Connelly's sweet personality, Grobo's EMT skills, John Prance's antics, Heather Carroll's hug, Christina's spirit, John Barata's dedication, Father Chris' love, and every affirmation I wrote on all your backs. Each of you brings something to lifeteen and together in unison we create the Church. As Father Chris says, "We are the Church." For three years I avoided the Church because I didn't feel wanted but everyone here convinced me otherwise. All your prayers and gifts have built up a home, the same home we all love to relax in.

Resurrection Play at St. Michael's Church, Bedford
Posted on: 4/5/2006 8:53:24 AM

"Resurrection", this musical cantata, is the inspirational story of Simon Peter and the forgiveness of Jesus Christ. The performance leads the audience on an unforgettable spiritual journey with St. Peter as he faces martyrdom. Peter recalls his own experiences with Christ as well as those he shared with Mary Magdalene and the disciples as they followed Jesus. In moving song, Peter shows the anguish for his denial of Christ and the joy that comes with the Resurrection and His forgiveness.

All of those interested in attending this Musical performance please send me an email or call me before Friday morning to reserve your spot. This is a FREE show, don't miss your chance to watch a great performance.
